LEANNE BORGHESI is a  fierce award-winning actress, singer, cabaret artist and the 2022 New York Manhattan Association of Cabaret MAC Award for "Musical Comedy Performer" and 2021 Broadway World Cabaret Award for her pandemic hit- "Borghesi’s Back! "  

Hailed “A sumptuous feast of outrageousness!”  Borghesi has performed to sold out houses New York to San Francisco in concert venues, nightclubs & theaters entertaining audiences with her bold & comedic brassy style.  She made her 2019 Carnegie Hall Debut in An Evening of Jerome Kern and is a regularly featured guest star at the Mabel Mercer Foundation’s New York Cabaret Convention held each year at Lincoln Center’s Rose Hall, Borghesi’s thrilled to return to The Lincoln Center’s Rose Hall for 33rd New York Cabaret Convention this year October 26-28th, 2022 accompanied by San Francisco's very own Nicolas Perez and joins forces in a duet as well with MAC Lifetime Achievement Award Winner: Marta Sanders accompanied by incomparable Alex Rybeck with Danny Bacher on the sax.

Original Nigh club act- SHOWBROADS…A Night Club Duel made it’s sold-out  Birdland Jazz Club debut  November 2019 & March 2020 in the heart of Manhattan with a swingin' 4 piece band.   Starring alongside Broadway/Cabaret powerhouse-Marta Sanders (Best Little Whorehouse 2022 MAC Lifetime Achievement Award)  these two “forces of  nature” thrilled audiences with “A one-two knockout punch!”  This new bawdy club act led was directed by Nicolas Minas, Book-Nathan Cann and Musical Direction/Arrangements by Composer Dana P. A Guest Artist at The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center Cabaret Conference under direction of Michael Bush, Borghesi debuted her solo show- BAZAZZ  and performed alongside Broadway and Cabaret Legends -Andre DeShields, Lillias White, Marilyn Maye and International Cabaret Conference at Yale University,  Amands McBroom, Tovah Feldshuh, Sally Mayes, Alex Rybeck, Julie Wilson and many others.
