LEANNE BORGHESI is an award winning Cabaret Artist, Entertainer, and Equity Theater Artist that has entertained audiences in major concert venues, theaters, nightclubs, and cabaret rooms from San Francisco to New York City. Specializing in live performance with Big Bands, Jazz Ensembles and Comedic "theatrical cabarets" Leanne has been entertaining audiences coast to coast for over three decades while always coming back to her roots of The Theatre!

Recent 2022 Manhattan Association of Cabaret MAC Award Winner for her raucous New York debut of the one-woman pandemic comedic hit: "Borghesi's Back!" , Leanne was an audience favorite winning the 2021 Broadway World Cabaret Award for Best Musical Comedy/Revue and 2022  MAC Award  for Best "Musical Comedy Performer". She made her 2019 Carnegie Hall Debut in "An Evening of Jerome Kern" and is a regularly featured guest star at the Mabel Mercer Foundation’s New York Cabaret Convention held  at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater returning back this October 26th, 2022 for the opening night of the convention alongside greats- Tovah Feldshuh, Marilyn Maye and many more.

"SHOWBROADS…A Night Club Duel" made it’s sold-out Birdland Jazz Club debut November 2019 and again in 2020 in the heart of New York City. Starring alongside Broadway/Cabaret powerhouse-Marta Sanders (Best Little Whorehouse, 2022 MAC Lifetime Achievement Award), these two “forces of  nature”  thrilled audiences with “A one-two knockout punch!”  This new bawdy night club act led was directed by Nicolas Minas, Book-Nathan Cann and Musical Direction/Arrangements by hailed Composer Dana P. Rowe (The Witches of Eastwick) “There’s a new duo in town and they’re on their way to paradise. Everyone needs to get a ticket, get on board, buckle in, and get ready for the ride of their lives”. A Guest Artist at The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center Cabaret Conference under direction of Michael Bush, Borghesi debuted her solo show- BAZAZZ and performed alongside Broadway and Cabaret Legends -Andre DeShields, Lillias White, Marilyn Maye and International Cabaret Conference at Yale University, Amanda McBroom, Tovah Feldshuh, Sally Mayes, Alex Rybeck, Sharon Mc Night, Julie Wilson and many others.
